Most Shakespeare workshops perform scenes at students. Ours puts students in charge.
What Happens in a Shakespeare Rewired Macbeth Workshop
1 ➟ Volunteers Take the Stage
Students are invited to take on roles, costumes and props. Our actors carefully choose volunteers who will shine — building confidence from the very first moment.
2 ➟ We Tell the Whole Story
Guided by our professional actors, student volunteers perform Macbeth's complete story — improvising dialogue, making choices and bringing their own interpretation to every scene.
3 ➟ Students Direct the Witches
The opening scene is performed twice — once for laughs, once with genuine atmosphere. Students discover that by changing voice and movement, actors can transform the same scene from funny to frightening.
4 ➟ Everyone Leaves Inspired
Students finish with a deep understanding of the plot, characters and themes — and a genuine enthusiasm for Shakespeare that carries directly into their classroom work.

What Teachers Say About Our Macbeth Workshop
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"We had an outstanding experience with Sky Blue Theatre as they taught our children 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙝 through an engaging interactive play and two dynamic breakout workshops. The children absolutely loved participating in the acting, and the style and pace of the sessions were perfectly tailored to help them grasp what can be a challenging and complex text... We’ve already secured bookings for the next academic year."
- Amy Davoudian, Year 6 English Lead, Christ the King Catholic Primary School
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"The actors are amazing with the children and used them fantastically to retell 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙝. It was an immersive experience for all, whether acting or watching. The workshops totally complemented the play and helped the children appreciate the feelings and motives of the main characters. This undoubtedly has helped our children understand 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙝 in such depth that the writing outcomes we have are truly fantastic!"
