What Happens in a Shakespeare Rewired Macbeth Workshop
1 ➟ Volunteers Take the Stage
Students are invited to take on roles, costumes and props. Our actors carefully choose volunteers who will shine, building confidence from the very first moment.
2 ➟ We Tell the Whole Story
Guided by our professional actors, student volunteers perform Romeo and Juliet's complete story, from the opening feud to the tragic finale. Improvising dialogue, making choices and bringing their own interpretation to every scene.
3 ➟ The Star-Crossed Star Awards
To celebrate the children’s achievements, our actors host a high-energy presentation. We award standout volunteers with official certificates, boosting peer recognition, public speaking confidence, and creative risk-taking.
4 ➟ Everyone Leaves Inspired
Students finish with a deep understanding of the plot, characters and themes of Romeo and Juliet, and the emotional literacy and enthusiasm that carries directly into their written work.

What Teachers Say About Our Macbeth Workshop
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Sky Blue are hilarious and amazing, and leave children with a really clear understanding of Shakespeare's plays and an enthusiasm for them. I have booked Sky Blue in both schools I have worked at, and we have had workshops in Macbeth, 𝙍𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙩 and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Kids loved them all and I always get parents emailing me to thank the school and tell me how much their child has enjoyed it."
- Tom Westby, Head of English, Newland House School
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Our experience with Sky Blue Theatre was fantastic. We hosted two ‘Shakespeare Rewired’ performance workshops on 𝙍𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙩. The actors were professional, enthusiastic and really reactive to the pupils. The students loved getting involved with the performance, and we were so proud of their enthusiasm and participation. There was a real buzz. We can’t wait to have Sky Blue Theatre Company back again!"
